Applying to the program:

Applications will be considered in the order they are received.

Applicants are responsible to ensure that their files are complete.  Only completed files will be processed.

Application packets are available from the Teacher Education Graduate Office at the address below.

 The applicant’s file must contain the following before he/she can be considered for admission to the program:

  1. A completed application form.

  2. Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work.

  3. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the last two years of full-time work.

  4. A current State or Christian School teaching license.

  5. Three letters of reference, including one from the applicant’s principal or supervisor.

  6. A written statement declaring why the applicant wants to enter the educational technology program at JBC, and how he/she hopes to use this training upon graduation.

  7. Phone or on-campus interview with the Graduate Coordinator or faculty committee.

  8. Access to a multimedia computer with a WWW browser or a computer, high-speed modem, and an account with a full Internet access provider (AOL is not adequate).

**It is the applicants’ responsibility to ensure that their files are complete. Only completed files will be processed. Applications will be considered in the order that they are received.

**Applications must be submitted by the deadlines listed below.

  • Enrollment For Fall Semester                July 15

  • Enrollment for Spring Semester November 15

  • Enrollment for Summer Semester          April 15
