PURPOSE
The primary purpose of Johnson
Bible College is to educate students for specialized Christian ministries
with emphasis on the preaching ministry. A secondary purpose is to provide
programs in Christian leadership and community service. The purpose of this
program is to provide graduate education in Bible and Educational Technology
as a service to professionals such as the following:

Teachers interested in using
technology in their classrooms

Christian school teachers who
need Bible and technology credits for certification

renewal
-
Supervisors or computer
coordinators
The writer in Ecclesiastes says,
“If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but
skill will bring success” (Ecclesiastes 10:10). This program aims to give
you more skills in Bible and technology to help you to sharpen your ax.
CONTENT
The M.A. in Bible and Educational
Technology from Johnson Bible College includes an understanding of the roles
of hardware and software, and their integration within the curricular
areas. It also explores the ethical
and Biblical issues involved in the use of technology in education.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Your studies normally begin with one or more
two-week summer sessions. During the school year, you will do all course
work by online distance learning. You will be able to immediately implement
the materials studied in this program in your own classroom. All
interactive assignments and courses will use the JBC Virtual Campus which is
located on the World Wide Web. |
